I’m Coach J and if you’re looking to make a transformation in your life than we are the program for you. I created Bamboo Athletics to give busy individuals who want to make a change an opportunity to make a change. We Specialize in 30-minute full body functional fitness classes that stimulate the metabolism and burn calories for up to 24 hours, and specialized meal plans to keep the calories off. We don’t have mirrors, we don’t use heavy weights, and we don’t waste time. Anybody can find 30 minutes a day and if you can find the discipline than we can help you find your transformation.
Stacy Scrabis graduated from Florida State University with a double major in Dietetics, and Nutrition & Fitness. She Later completed her Master’s degree (in Dietetics) from the University of North Florida. Her 23 year Career as a Registered Dietitian has been spent as a Clinical Dietitian specializing in Oncology and Intensive care, a Nutrition educator for the WIC Program, an out patient Dietitian Specializing in weight management and oncology for Halifax Health, and a Sports Dietitian Consultant. Stacy is Currently Consulting as a Sports Dietitian for the Athletics Department at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and she’s consulted for numerous professional Athletes throughout her career. Stacy has joined Bamboo Athletics to help us help you in our mission to transform lives for the better.
Amanda Growney is a Life/Health Coach with training from Co-Creative Coaching, as well as a 700hr Certified Yoga Teacher. She is certified in levels 2-6 in Thai Yoga assisting through the Florida School of Massage and certified in Y12SR which is yoga that specializes in recovery from addiction. Amanda says that the best education she’s gotten is through the triumphs and tragedies of life. Walking through those tragedies have made her the effective Coach and teacher she is today. Through her own experiences and training Amanda has made it her mission in life to not only shine a light on the outdated patterns, false beliefs, and illusions that hold you back; but to guide you in creating healthy patterns, and habits that will help you gain self-esteem, confidence, and an attitude of “I AM ENOUGH”.
